We are HYPED that BRIT & Mercury Prize nominee Loyle Carner is the Saturday night headliner for NASS 2022.

After an incredible show at NASS in 2019, Loyle is making a return to the stage for a HUGE party at Bath & West Showground this summer. To get you in the mood, here are our top 5 Loyle tracks…

1. Yesterday’s Gone:

The title track from Carner’s debut album which he released back in 2017. The Independent named it the album of the year and it was nominated for a Mercury Prize and 2 Brit Awards.

2. Damselfly:

In collaboration with his long-time pal and Nu-Jazz royalty Tom Misch. The pair have collaborated on 5 tracks and have spoken about releasing a joint album – yes please! The track has amassed over 67 million streams on Spotify.

3. +44:

Loyle keeps it real with this spoken-word track about girls and late night text messages. It’s only 48 seconds long but the storytelling in his lyrics have us hooked and we love the mixture of soul and hip-hop in this track.

4. Ottolenghi:

The track has racked up an impressive 52 million streams on Spotify. But what’s even cooler is that the track was inspired by a Yotam Ottolenghi cookery book that helped soothe Loyle’s ADHD. It even inspired him to set up an ADHD cookery school, Chilli Con Carner, to help kids with their own self-confidence. What a guy!

5. Loose Ends:

Loyle teams up with Brit Award winner Jorja Smith for this tune about his younger years and past struggles. It’s a soulful mix of happy and sad but definitely a tune that we can’t wait to hear live at NASS 2022 this summer.
