Skateboarding at Nass:
NASS 2012 will entice pros from the world over, to compete for the £20,000 skate purse and entertain you in three separate events:
-World Cup Skate Pro Park
-Relentless Energy Drink Street Spots
-Girlzilla
World Cup Skate:
World Cup Skateboarding rolls into the showground, bringing with it some of the sickest names in pro skating as they compete for cash and points in their bid to be crowned King at the year’s end!
Over 15 nations are represented in the park event, each one bringing their own home grown magic.
2011 saw Kelvin Hoefler take the win. The others don’t want that happening again.
Check out the website and Facebook for rider updates. From March they will be coming in thick and fast.
Relentless Energy Drink Street Spots:
2011 introduced street spots to NASS and what happened? It went mental, that’s what!
Classic London street spots were lovingly recreated offering terrain not often seen in European contests.
After a couple of tentative looks at the pretty massive set up, a select crew of the World’s finest threw themselves into the highlight of NASS skateboarding to date.
Kelvin Hoefler did the NASS double by taking out Street Spots and park. Can he make history and do it again!
Girlzilla:
3 years on and Girlzilla now rivals any girls skate event in the World. They come from afar and never disappoint. The standard continues to grow and 2012 see’s Girlzilla enter the WCS calendar as a prime event.
2011 podium was Lacey Baker, Alexis Sablone and Laeticia Buffoni. Enough said!
